Innovative Vision Research

In 2010 several research groups joined forces in the former Retinal Implant Laboratory to form The Eye Lab. Our lab is part of the Centre for Ophthalmology and the University-Eye-Hospital of the Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen and located in the Calwerstraße 7/1 in Tübingen.

While all modules of our laboratory function independently in scientific terms, we share our laboratory state of the art research equipment including a Spectralis OCT, two Diagnosis ERG recording devices, a operating microscope and hypoxic chambers for acute and chronic exposures to strengthen our research capacity.
